2. First (or favorite) beer memory: Train ride from Munich to Herrsching on a cold and gray Sunday. Hike five or six kilometers from Herrsching to Andechs Pilgramage Church through the woods overlooking the Ammersee. Drank Andechs Weissbier. “Genuss fur leib und seele.” (Enjoyment for body and soul). The hike back in the rain and dark was less fun.
3. Ideal food/beer pairing: Victory Sunrise Weissbier, Emmentaller Swiss cheese, a red apple and a pretzel.
4. Ultimate way to enjoy a VBC : Throwing horseshoes on a warm summer evening, waiting for the venison on the grill to be done.
5. Life outside of VBC: I enjoy fly-fishing, hunting (especially shot gunning ducks and upland birds), looking at stars, and whistling.
