DATE: APRIL 6 (Prohibition ended at the stroke of midnight April 6, 1933)
WHY: To celebrate the end of Prohibition and the return to sanity for our great nation. On this date we thank those who helped change policy to allow for the return of our favorite beverage, BEER!
THE TOAST: At 9PM on April 6, raise your glass of Throwback Lager high to toast Franklin Delano Roosevelt for more than just helping the U.S. win World War II. In 1932, FDR used the Repeal of Prohibition as one of his core campaign stances. That is why we say, THANK YOU FDR!
